This was my first time having a cioppino and boy did we chose a good place to have it! Inside it’s tomato-based broth was a ridiculous amount of seafood: shrimps, scallops, fish, clams, mussels, and half a crab. Ugh! SO GOOD! Eat this at Phil’s Fish Market in Moss Landing, CA because it beat Bobby Flay in a Cioppino Throw Down! If you are on your way to Monterey from San Francisco you definitely have to stop here.

Cupcakes from Miette! The chocolate strawberry one is my favorite, but who isn’t intrigued by what an “Old Fashioned” cupcake is. Also, carrot cupcake and the classic chocolate with vanilla frosting are amazing. Who am I kidding! They are all nom nom…

Loved the ramen here! I had the Soy Milk Ramen with sesame oil on the side and an extra egg. The broth was really well done and you could also chose the size of your bowl (S, M, L) which makes so much sense. Why don’t other ramen places do this? If you’re hankering for a nice meal on your way to/from Tahoe from San Francisco this is the place you’re gonna want to stop. (Shoki II Ramen House)
